The Communication page in the Laso guest facing app is where you can communicate with hotel staff. You can send and receive messages.
To send a message:
- Open the Laso guest facing app.
- Tap on the Communication icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap on the New message icon in the top right corner.
- Select the recipient(s) for your message.
- Type your message and tap on Send.
Chat
The Chat page in the Laso guest facing app is where you can have one-on-one conversations with hotel staff.
To start a chat:
- Open the Laso guest facing app.
- Tap on the Chat icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Type your message and tap on Send.
- You will immediately get a reply from the AI
- Depending on the nature of the message, someone from staff might take over the conversation
Communication preferences (profile configuration)
You can configure your communication preferences in the Laso guest facing app by going to your profile and tapping on Communication preferences.
Here, you can choose which types of messages you want to receive. You can also choose to be notified of new messages via push notification, email, or SMS.
