Announcements are a great way to notify your guests about important information.
When you send an announcement, each guest receives your message in their personal chat thread and/or text message.

Send instant announcement to all in-house guests
- Click Announce link in your property dashboard
- Enter the text of your message in Announcement message box
- Click Send Now
Schedule announcement
- Click Announce link in your property dashboard
- Enter the text of your message in Announcement message box
- Click Schedule Send and choose the date and time that you want your message to be sent
Editing Scheduled Announcements
You can modify scheduled announcements before they are sent. To edit an announcement, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the "Scheduled" tab: Go to the section of the software that displays scheduled announcements.
- Access editing options: Locate the announcement you wish to edit and click its associated menu (often represented by three dots or a gear icon).
- Select "Edit": Choose the "Edit" option from the menu.
- Make your changes: Modify the announcement content, date, time, or any other relevant settings.
- Save your edits: Click the "Save" button to confirm and apply your changes.
Choose recipients
You have a lot of guests. It would be cumbersome and time consuming to choose each recipient individually. That is why Laso allows you to choose guests by a particular trait. This way you can create a group of recipients that have the same trait. In other words, guests that fulfill a certain condition.
- Click Announce link in your property dashboard
- Select the dropdown that says All in-house guests
- Choose Custom conditions
- Set your conditions
- Follow the steps for sending instant scheduled announcement
Once you choose your conditions, Laso will estimate the number of recipients based on these conditions.
Important note: if you don’t set any conditions Laso will send the message to all in-house guests!

Creating Condition Templates
For complex or frequently used conditions, you can create templates to streamline your workflow. These templates are saved for reuse.
To create a condition template:
- Add the specific conditions you need, just as you normally would.
- Click the "Save as template" button.
- Enter a descriptive name for your template in the provided field.
- Click the "Save" button.
Your condition template is now created and ready for future use.
Applying Condition Templates
Applying a saved template is a straightforward process:
- Click the condition drop-down menu.
- Choose the "Custom conditions" option.
- Select the desired template from the available list.
- Click the "Set" button.
Important Note: Currently, Laso does not support editing or deleting existing condition templates.
