Getting Started

Get familiar with the laso experience app and the terminology used in this guide.

The LasoExperience dashboard is divided into 3 sections – GENERAL, CONTENT and MANAGEMENT. 

Under GENERAL, you can view and manage your property’s bookings, guest requests, announcements, chat, and guest feedback. 

Under CONTENT, you can easily add content that will be visible to your guests in the app. Here you’ll also add your rooms, services and authorization forms.  

The MANAGEMENT section is dedicated to managing users, reports, and your property’s general info and branding as well as to configuring messaging, check-in flow, mailing, PMS and mobile key.  

 You can access each of these areas by selecting the corresponding tab on the sidebar.

GENERAL

  • The Bookings tab is where you can manage your bookings and view guest activity. 
  • In the Requests tab you can see all service requests your guests have made and the status of every request (i.e. to do, processing, completed). 
  • The Announce tab is where you write, schedule, and send announcements to your guests. 
  • In the Chat tab, you can view all conversations with your guests. 
  • In the Feedback tab, you can see guest feedback and how they rated their stay at your property. 

CONTENT 

  • The Content tab is where you can add content that will be visible to your guests in the guest app, including activities, offers, categories, and homescreen content. 
  • The Rooms tab lets you add different room types with full room description and accompanying images.
  • In the Services tab, you can add your property’s services e.g. room service and configure service availability. 
  • In the Authorization Forms tab, you can see your guests’ authorization forms containing credit card details as well as the list of charged items. 

MANAGEMENT

  • Under ConfigurationGeneral tab you can add your property’s general information.
  • Under ConfigurationBranding tab you can customize the look and feel of the app to match your property’s brand. 
  • Under ConfigurationMessaging tab you can set up automated notifications e.g. welcome notification. 
  • The ConfigurationCheck in tab is where you can configure how your check-in flow is going to look like, i.e. the steps your guests will go through when checking in digitally. 
  • Under ConfigurationMailing tab you can view and edit HTML email templates for guest and staff communications. 
  • The ConfigurationPMS tab is a super admin area used for PMS integration so that the platform can pull the reservations from your PMS. This process is typically completed by our technical team.  
  • Under Configuration → you’ll find the Mobile key tab, another super admin area where admins can configure and test mobile key integrations. 
  • The UsersLists tab is where you can view the list of users and their assigned roles. 
  • Under UsersRoles tab you can add your team members and set roles and permissions. 
  • The Reports tab is where you can see various reports including offers taken, total income, total bookings, and more.
